I guess this is a bit of an urban myth, but still, i like it. There's this huge graveyard in Aoyama, a really posh part of town, where allot of the bomb victims from the war went. Now, this area's pretty known for 'spooky goings on' (and my wife has a thousand stories from when she worked there, particularly from a photo studio that's particularly famous as being haunted), but here's the bit i love. They built a subway right under this graveyard - the Ginza line i think - and the story goes, ghosts get on the train sometimes then end up lost. So what do Tokyo ghosts do when they get lost? Same as us apparently, they get a taxi!! There's all these reports from taxi drivers of people they've picked up in area's on the line, driven to Aoyama only to find that when they look look back for their fare, nobody's there!

You were in my dream last night. I can't remember much of it but we were at a gig and you were on the other side of the venue and were signalling for me to come and join you but I couldn't find you.
All very odd.

Have you been on that subway? that sounds pretty cool. it reminds me of the book "Strangers" by Taichi Yamada.

I havnt, no. I know sarah has though. It's one of the main-main lines in Tokyo, but it's pretty way out from where i live. I've not read that book either - good?

Oh, shame. I was gonna say, maybe you could taxi-share with one...

The book is good. Not the best, but still good all the same, the idea is there.

Also, I got an offer from Oxford Brookes University. As an Operations Practitioner, the RAF suggested it for me and gave me references and sponsors.
